This document outlines the legal stipulations and codes of conduct governing the provision of lodging services at Casa Margarita. By confirming a reservation and completing the registration process, the Guest agrees to be bound by the following clauses:
1. Registration and Departure (Check-in / Check-out)
Check-in: Room access and check-in are established starting at 15:00 hours. It is a mandatory requirement to present a valid government-issued photo ID and complete the registration form.
Check-out: Departure and room vacancy must be finalized by 12:00 PM.
Late Check-out: Any request for a late check-out is strictly subject to Hotel availability and must be explicitly authorized by management. A fee of $1,500.00 MXN will be applied, granting a 3-hour extension (until 15:00 hours).
2. Payment Guarantees and Settlement
Settlement: The total balance of the stay must be settled in accordance with the policies of the specific rate plan selected at the time of booking.
Luggage Storage: Complimentary luggage storage is available upon request; however, it is strictly subject to space availability.
3. Property Preservation and Liability
Casa Margarita is a property of significant historical value. The Guest agrees to the following:Liability for Damages: The Guest is legally and financially liable for any damage, deterioration, or loss caused to the furniture, equipment, artwork, or architectural structure of the rooms and common areas. The cost of restoration or replacement will be charged to the room account and must be settled upon check-out or within a maximum of 7 days following departure.
Non-Smoking Policy: Pursuant to current federal legislation, the Hotel is a 100% smoke-free environment. Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited in all interior areas and guestrooms. Violation of this regulation will result in a penalty of $3,000 MXN to cover specialized cleaning and sanitization expenses.
4. Conduct and Security Regulations
Occupancy: Maximum room capacity is strictly limited to two (2) persons. Any external visitors must be reported to the Property Manager.
Quiet Hours: To ensure a serene environment, mandatory quiet hours are enforced from 22:00 hours to 09:00 hours. The use of audio devices must be moderated at all times.
Valuables: The Hotel shall not be held liable for the loss or disappearance of currency, jewelry, or high-value items not secured within the electronic safe deposit box provided in each room.
5. Pet Policy
Except for certified service animals with advanced notification, the Hotel does not permit pets within the guestrooms or the premises.
6. Cancellations and No-Show
Cancellations are subject to the terms of the contracted rate plan. In the event of a failure to arrive (no-show), the total cost of the stay or the penalty stipulated in the reservation confirmation will be applied.
7. Termination of Service
The Hotel reserves the right to terminate the lodging agreement and demand immediate eviction, without the right to a refund, for any Guest who engages in disrespectful behavior toward staff, immoral acts, disturbance of public order, or non-compliance with any of the aforementioned points.
8. Non-Discrimination and Inclusivity Policy
Casa Margarita is committed to diversity and inclusion. Any act of discrimination, harassment, or prejudice directed toward other guests or Hotel staff based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, marital status, or any other legally protected characteristic is strictly prohibited. The Hotel reserves the right to immediately terminate the stay of any individual whose conduct violates this fundamental principle of equality and mutual respect.
